An exciting opportunity has arisen to join South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Team Lead Physiotherapist on Rutson Ward at the Friarage Hospital. This full-time Band 7 role is based within our stroke and complex rehabilitation service, working Monday to Friday, including Bank Holidays.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and leadership. As Clinical Team Lead, you will oversee a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistants, working within a highly supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and a Consultant Therapist.
At the heart of this role is our commitment to truly patient-centred care. You will be instrumental in coordinating shared goal-setting with patients--developing integrated treatment plans that all disciplines contribute to and work from. This ensures every interaction moves the patient forward, making every contact count.
You will provide expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment, contribute to service development, and support the ongoing training and development of your team. This is an excellent opportunity to influence care delivery and quality outcomes while growing in your own leadership journey.
Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for leading the Inpatient Rehab service, providing expert guidance, and ensuring high standards of patient care. The role requires someone who can work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to service development, ensuring a continuous improvement culture within the department. The role requires to work in a integrated model, assessing and treating patients with varying rehabilitation needs covering Stroke rehab and patients that have complex needs ensuring that every contact counts.
