The NHS seeks a compassionate and proactive Clinical Team Lead Nurse to enhance patient care in busy GP surgeries across Birmingham. The successful candidate will lead a diverse nursing team and ensure high standards of clinical governance. This role requires a registered nurse with effective communication skills, who can manage a varied workload and maintain excellent patient relationships.
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive registered Nurse to be our Clinical Team Lead, and to support the delivery of high-quality patient care within our busy GP surgery.
The successful candidate will be working across our 3 sites to lead our varied Nursing Team. Primary care experience is desired but not essential.
GP Surgery experince would be preferred.
This will be a varied role of nursing clinics and management of the Nursing team as a whole.
Excellent patient service and patient relationship skills, excellent communication skills, a confident manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential attributes of any applicants.
Applicants should possess the appropriate qualifications and should have computing/keyboard skills .

Lordswood Group is a large Practice with 26,000 patients; 7 Partners, 11 Salaried GPs, 5 Nurses, 2 HCA's, 3 Phlebotomists, 4 Pharmacists, 6 Prescriptions Clerks, 4 Secretaries and 21 Reception and Administration staff.
We offer a competitive salary together with 4 weeks annual leave (rising by one day per year of service up to 5 weeks after 5 years service) plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time).

Working in accordance with the UKCC Code of Conduct, the post-holder will lead and develop the practice of the Practice nursing team in the provision of assessment, treatment, screening, health education services and advice to patients.
The post-holder will develop, and ensure that the nursing team work with reference to, Practice agreed protocols and guidelines to provide nursing treatments to patients both independently and in participation with nurse colleagues and general practitioners.
The post-holder will have the required level of training and competence and will work within patient group directions where these are available. A nurse with prescribing qualifications will use them appropriately.
