A leading mental health organization is seeking a Clinical Secretary to provide administrative support in Eccles. The role involves handling medical correspondence, managing enquiries, and supporting the medical team. Candidates must have experience in administration and GCSE Maths and English. To support the Medical PA in providing comprehensive administrative support to the medical teams within Cromwell House.
The Clinical Secretary will undertake general office duties, including typing medical correspondence, taking minutes of ward rounds, and managing calls from patients, carers, relatives, and health and social care professionals.
Liaise with GPs regarding clinics and domiciliary visits, and coordinate with outside agencies such as Social Services, the Coroner’s Office, hospitals, and other medical services, using professional judgment.

Shift details include Saturday (midnight to midnight), any weekday after 8pm and before 6am, and all time on Sundays and public holidays.
Benefits include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years.
All roles require pre-employment checks and enrolment in the DBS Update Service for a fee of £16 per year.
