The Digital Systems Deployment and Support team is responsible for the implementation, development, and ongoing management and support of the Trust's Digital Strategy, which aims to transform the Trust into a "digitised enterprise".


This involves delivering cutting-edge computer systems and applications to improve patient care and operational benefits.


The Digital Clinical Systems Training Department provides end-user training and ongoing support for these systems. This role involves working within a team to develop, maintain, and deliver training.


Please note that this vacancy does not meet UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and HUTH cannot issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.


Main duties of the job

We are seeking a Clinical Systems Training and Development Officer with experience in developing and delivering end-user training, preferably within an NHS environment, using clinical and patient administrative systems. The candidate should demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and meet strict deadlines, as well as work independently.


Travel between hospital sites and external venues may be required. Part of the work may be from home.

Qualifications

  • Training Qualification to Level 3 or equivalent in education

  • Desirable: PGCE/Cert Ed
Experience

  • Essential: Experience in training course design, delivery, and providing end-user support

  • Desirable: NHS experience with clinical systems or educational settings, trainer of clinical/non-clinical applications, IT training course design
Skills

  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Good planning, organisational skills, and proficiency in PC and MS Office
  • Understanding of Information Governance, security, and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, motivate others, and take responsibility

  • Desirable: E-Learning skills, experience in an office environment, ECDL/Advanced ECDL, knowledge of Trust IM&T strategy
Other

  • Flexible, adaptable to workload, willing to undertake additional duties
