Job summary

This is a key support post within the Clinical Systems Team. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the EPR Workflow Lead, specifically in supporting systems under the remit of the Clinical Systems Team.

Please be advised, interviews for this post are scheduled to take place during the week commencing 19th May 2025.

Main duties of the job

  1. Management and creation of EPR accounts and related applications
  2. Management of appropriate Data Collection Workbooks
  3. Providing a support service to users of systems
  4. Provide line management and support to the EPR System Support Analysts
  5. Providing timely and accurate access to systems
  6. Developing and maintaining key documentation to support processes
  7. Support cascade training
  8. General system administration duties
  9. Provide basic management cover for other ICT systems
  10. Help to support 24/7 services within the Trust, working independently on-call

Job responsibilities

  1. To provide a comprehensive support service to users of the systems managed.
  2. Liaise with external users and third-party providers, offering support and advice.
  3. Complete supplier design documentation, such as Data Collection Workbooks, accurately.
  4. Assist in developing policies and procedures related to the systems managed.
  5. Undertake periodic audits of data to ensure compliance with NHS Data Manual, including master files.
  6. Test new releases of systems.
  7. Create and manage user accounts, including onboarding and deactivation for leavers.
