Clinical Systems Senior Configuration Analyst

The Clinical Systems Team is a supportive, innovative, and forward-thinking team, and we are looking for a collaborative team player with strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.

Development Opportunity Available: We also welcome applications from candidates who are currently working at Band 5 level and are seeking a development opportunity, with a potential to grow into a Band 6 role in the future. Appointment at Band 5 will be considered for suitable applicants who demonstrate commitment and development potential; progression will be subject to meeting the required competencies and performance standards.

Main duties of the job

About the Role:

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (30+ hours can be considered)
  • Location: Full time in the office for induction period. Once trained hybrid working will be facilitated with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

As a Senior Clinical Systems Configuration Analyst, you will:

  • Work closely with system users, providing high-quality advice and supportto Trust staff
  • Configure and optimise clinical systems to enhance efficiency and usability
  • Quickly develop expertise in key systems, such as RiO, SystmOne, IAPTus, Systems For Dentists and Lillie (full training provided)
  • Lead on system improvements, change management, and development projects
  • Handle business-as-usual configuration tasks and ad-hoc queries, ensuring seamless system functionality
  • Develop templates, forms, and clinical system workflows

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate subject, or possess relevant proven experience
  • Qualification in ITIL or relevant working experience

  • Understanding of clinical and operational processes within the NHS, the Public sector and other Health setting
  • Experience of working with Clinical Systems used in GHC such as RIO or SystmOne
