Job summary

Sirona care & health CIC in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire is seeking a Clinical Lead for Sustainability to drive the Green Plan and Sustainability Strategy within the Estates and Facilities team. You will work with the Sustainability and Environmental Manager to deliver clinical-focused energy and water management and carbon reduction initiatives.

The post reports to the Associate Director for Estates and Environmental and requires UK professional registration, NHS benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability or environmental strategy.
• Experience working with clinical, finance and IT teams.
• Experience managing projects.
• Clinical qualification and UK registration.

Responsibilities

• Champion environmental sustainability across clinical and non-clinical work.
• Lead communications for the clinical elements in the Environmental Strategy across Sirona.
• Provide and receive information of complex nature relating to energy management, carbon reduction, sustainability, and governance matters.
• Present information to staff from operational to senior management level to influence change.
• Build and maintain relationships with neighbouring healthcare providers and external contacts.
• Attend relevant meetings representing Sirona as required.
• Support staff to identify sustainability issues and demonstrate links to patient care.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with system-wide initiatives.
• Develop and create content for a Green communications campaign focusing on clinician engagement.
• Present issues from clinical perspectives regarding sustainability and environment.
