Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Healthcare Assistant for Ward D1, specializing in gastroenterology care. Candidates must possess a caring nature and strong communication skills, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on Ward D1. D1 is a 25 bedded ward which specialises in the care of patients who have gastroenterology conditions.
We have a strong ethos to staff development and learning and have a wonderful consultant body and multidisciplinary team.
The Ward is very busy so a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care is required. You must be able to provide high quality, compassionate care, ensuring an efficient service is delivered.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people. A caring nature, good communication skills & a willingness to learn & develop are essential.
You will deliver fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene & toileting needs, feeding & mobility.
Excellent strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards of care to provide high quality, compassionate care for our patients and their families and ensure that efficient service delivery is maintained.

To work closely with the nursing team delivering fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting needs, feeding and mobility.
