Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker to join Ward 14 and the Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU). This post is NHS AfC Band 3, part-time 18 hours per week, with a pro rata salary and a permanent contract.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, supporting safe patient care delivery and contributing to an effective clinical service within a busy gynaecology environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements for individual patient care.
• Recognise people’s right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect.
• Awareness of Safeguarding issues.
• NVQ 3 in care or equivalent or willingness to work towards
• Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above
• Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement
