Clinical Support Worker - Radiology CT/MR Reception

An opportunity has arisen within the Radiology Department for a Clinical Support Worker to work alongside Radiographers in the CT/MR Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour position, worked over 7 days. The role offers an exciting challenge for a dynamic and empathetic team player with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm, who enjoys working in a hospital environment.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Radiology team. Responsibilities include receiving patients at the reception, accurately entering patient and examination data into the Radiology IT system, answering phones, responding to queries from patients, GPs, and staff, and providing general patient care.

Previous experience is desirable but training can be provided. The hours involve three longer days between 7 am and 8:30 pm, requiring flexibility for longer days, evenings, and weekends. Bank holiday work on scheduled days may also be required.

Our facilities include Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, along with community health care premises across Morecambe Bay.
