Overview

An opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified Clinical Support Workers to work at Rye Memorial Hospital. This is a dynamic role within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, focused on supporting rehabilitation across East Sussex. The environment supports staff, teams and the organisation to deliver high quality rehabilitation for the population living in East Sussex.

The ESHT Rehabilitation strategy aims to improve the quality and performance of our acute and community services. You will be part of a friendly and welcoming team – both Nursing and Therapy – where you will receive the support you need and, as part of a diverse and changing environment, no week will ever feel the same again.

Responsibilities
  • As a vital member of the care team, you will support Registered Practitioners in the delivery of routine patient care.
  • You will undertake a broad range of care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
  • You will be required to work flexibly which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
  • The post holder will need to attend a period of induction and training before commencing in the role.
Qualifications and requirements
  • A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths.
  • NVQ2 in health and social care or the equivalent experience is essential.
  • Induction and training will be provided for the role.
