East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides safe, compassionate, and high-quality hospital and community care to the half a million people living in East Sussex and visitors to our area.

We are one of the largest organisations in East Sussex, with an annual income of £568 million, and the only integrated provider of acute and community care in Sussex.

Our extensive health services are delivered by over 8,000 dedicated staff across two acute hospitals in Hastings and Eastbourne, three community hospitals, over 100 community sites, and in people's homes.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated us as 'Good' overall, and 'Outstanding' for being Caring and Effective. Our hospitals and community services have received high ratings, with our two acute hospitals providing 24-hour emergency care and a broad range of services.

Job overview

We seek Clinical Support Workers eager for new challenges. Our busy Emergency Departments care for diverse patient groups in areas such as Majors, Minors, Resus, Triage, Paediatrics, and the Clinical Decision Unit. We foster an inclusive, friendly, and supportive team environment.

Your role involves delegated clinical procedures such as cannula insertion/removal, venepuncture, wound assessment, dressing changes, and urinary catheter removal, with training provided.

Working for our organisation
