We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic colleague to work in our busy Radiology department. This position is particularly suitable for applicants with some healthcare experience and an interest in remote and rural working.

You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art department with a friendly team including Radiographers and Sonographers, dedicated to providing high-quality Radiographic services to the Western Isles population.

The post holder will provide direct patient care, ensure a clean and hygienic environment, and assist with general and specialised Radiological procedures, including biopsies and drainages.

Additional duties include reception, booking patients into the Radiology Information System, answering phone calls, and maintaining stock levels of consumables.

The role is based at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, with occasional visits to Uist and Barra Hospital in Benbecula for ultrasound chaperoning duties.
