An opportunity has arisen for a friendly and reliable individual to take on the role of Clinical Support Supervisor within the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Service.
This busy role provides direct, comprehensive first-line management support to a varied team of administrative staff across the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service. You will support the Administration Service Lead in managing all aspects of administration, secretarial, and clerical support services to ensure effective support to senior management, medical staff, and clinicians.
You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Service Managers and Lead Nurse Teams within the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service, assisting in planning, developing, maintaining, and managing the service to meet its objectives.
Qualifications in business administration or secretarial services or equivalent are required. You should have significant administration/PA experience, preferably working with a consultant team or Clinical Service Manager, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office packages. Excellent organizational skills, minute-taking, numeracy, audio typing, and keyboard skills are essential, along with proficiency in email, spreadsheets, and database management. Ability to work independently or as part of a team is necessary. Proven experience in co-leading and implementing service improvement projects or supervising peers/staff is also required.
Participation in in-house training for personal development is expected. Knowledge of the NHS, medical terminology, and previous healthcare experience are advantageous.
Travel between locations within Fife may be required.
