Job description

Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to sell the Vascular portfolio by providing hands-on clinical support and education to doctors. The Clinical Support Specialist will also serve as the clinical expert within the Vascular team.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop an excellent knowledge of the product portfolio and related devices.
  2. Provide service to clinical and non-clinical customers, including:
    • Presence in the Cath Lab/Radiology department to assist staff with vascular devices.
    • Execute product roll-outs.
    • Present new technologies.
    • Identify opportunities within accounts.
    • Asset management.
    • Maximize revenues from contracts.
  3. Provide technical product training to clinical customers and team members as required.
  4. Inform Regional Business Managers, Commercial Business Managers, and Account Specialists about developments and trends within the product portfolio.
  5. Provide market intelligence and feedback to division personnel promptly.
  6. Evaluate new product ideas and communicate findings to the Sales Manager and account team.
  7. Distribute and ensure understanding of new or updated product information among customers and team.
  8. Participate in relevant local and international exhibitions, meetings, and lectures, sharing relevant information with the divisional team.
  9. Submit written reports to the Sales Manager as needed.

Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and regional physicians. Work closely with the sales team and support functions to deliver optimal service. Collaborate with the Account Specialist to meet or exceed objectives and targets set by management.

Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in clinical support is desirable.
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures is desirable.
  • Ability to interpret clinical data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English and relevant languages.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and networking skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with an average of 3-4 overnight trips per week.
