Job summary

Ingeus is seeking experienced Functional Assessors to support service delivery and supervise junior staff. You will use quality data to drive professional development and ensure high-quality reports and audits.

Role requires HCPC/NMC/GMC registration, 12+ months of related experience, and the ability to contribute to CPD, group sessions, and evidence-based decision making in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience as a DWP approved Functional Assessor with strong audit outcomes.
• Must be HCPC/NMC/GMC registered with no practice restrictions.
• Active CPD engagement and ongoing professional development.
• Broad clinical experience across various conditions and adult care.
• Ability to perform relevant examinations and assess functional implications.
• Clear written communication and accurate report writing in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Functional Assessors and provide feedback and supervision.
• Develop collaboration with the RDM to promote joint working.
• Conduct clinical observations, audits, and dip tests for quality.
• Deliver group quality improvement sessions based on trends.
• Produce accurate, evidence-based reports and maintain high spelling/grammar standards.
• Support achievement of service delivery KPIs through effective assessment services.
• Engage with NHS, private healthcare partners and charities to obtain evidence.
• Engage in CPD to maintain professional registration and meet contractual requirements.
• Complete required training such as Paper-based Reviews and initial Triage.
