An established industry player is seeking a Clinical Support and Resource Manager to oversee the operational management of clinical resources in Theatres and Critical Care. This pivotal role involves ensuring the availability, maintenance, and safe disposal of equipment and consumables, while leading initiatives to optimize resource utilization. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering collaboration between departments, managing inventory effectively, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. The Clinical Support and Resource Manager will provide the day to day operational management of the Clinical Support Resource Team managing supply, maintenance and disposal of all equipment and consumables and ensuring a safe and high quality provision of service to all UHCW Theatres and Critical Care areas. Any risks pertaining to equipment or consumables will be identified and managed via the Clinical Support and Resource Manager.
The post holder will manage the synergy between Theatres, Critical Care, MEBs and Procurement when purchasing, storing and utilising equipment and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels, value for money and that waste is at a minimum. The post holder will lead on Waste Audits and Capital Bids processes for Theatres and Critical Care.
