Job Description

Job overview

This is a month-long secondment contract. Are you an experienced clinician seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a Clinical Lead to support the district nursing team in Huntingdon.

The core hours are during main shifts (details to be confirmed).

The ideal candidate will be an RGN at degree level or with equivalent experience, holding a post-registration qualification relevant to community practice.

The candidate should demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic, accountability, and the ability to work under pressure. This role is open to registered nurses with the right attributes to enhance our team.

Main duties of the job

As Clinical Lead, you will work autonomously, taking responsibility for care, quality, and clinical activity within the team. You will provide advanced nursing leadership, supervision, guidance, and clinical advice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare aligned with local and national development plans, Trust policies, and procedures.

You will lead and support the team alongside other Clinical Leads in the locality to prioritize and respond appropriately, ensuring the delivery of effective services that meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities.

Working for our organization

Our clinical teams deliver services across inpatient, primary care, and community settings, including mental health, learning disabilities, forensic services, substance misuse, social care, and research.

We aim to recruit high-caliber candidates who share our values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all community sectors, especially underrepresented groups, including disabled people, ethnic minorities, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Please note: We reserve the right to close the advert early if sufficient applications are received. We cannot offer sponsorship for all roles; applications from candidates requiring sponsorship may be rejected.
