THE ROLE: The Clinical Specialist will work in partnership with the commercial/sales team to drive business development and support existing customers. You’ll be providing clinical support through the buying process, both pre and post sales, driving the company strategy and generating better clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies. Typical products you will provide support on are specialist beds, traction frames, specialist mattresses, services and solutions within pressure ulcer prevention and pressure area care.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluations, providing customer education programs, forums, study days and attending national exhibitions.
  • Working alongside a Business Development Manager who is responsible for direct sales/winning new business.
  • You will be supporting customers in long term care: care homes, social care, loan stores.
  • KPIs will be based on activity and behavioural targets, for evaluations, study days and training for example.
  • KOL engagement is a key part of the job and organically cross selling based on your clinical expertise.
  • As you will often have equipment with you, the role comes with a company van – likely to be a transporter type vehicle.
  • 4 days in the field per week. At least 1 day at home per week for admin.

You must have a full driving licence with no more than points, happy to travel 4 days per week and confident driving a transporter van.
