An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North Yorkshire and York Learning Disability Intensive Support Team for a competent, confident, and enthusiastic Clinical Specialist Nurse.
The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and provide clinical leadership within the intensive support team, working alongside the Team Manager and utilizing skills to support team members.
The post holder will be part of a newly formed team working across the North Yorkshire area, including Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Hambleton, Richmondshire, Harrogate & District, and York & Selby. The team collaborates with internal and external partners to support individuals with diagnosed learning disabilities and their families/carers, aiming to prevent mental health hospital admissions, placement breakdowns, and risks associated with behavioral presentations. The team is friendly, professional, and innovative, committed to living the trust values and enhancing the quality of life and emotional wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities. Coproduction and collaboration are key drivers of the team's work ethic.
Strong team working is essential, requiring networking with a variety of stakeholders and working in partnership with different agencies both internal and external to the team.
