A healthcare provider in North London is seeking a qualified nurse to join their multidisciplinary mental health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for individual assessments, intervention, and care for individuals with complex mental health needs, particularly psychosis and Bipolar Affective Disorder. Working as a member of a multidisciplinary community Mental Health Team, the post holder will be responsible for providing individual assessment, clinical interventions, and direct care to service users with a primary diagnosis of psychosis. The team seeks an individual capable of working autonomously within a multi-disciplinary structure.
The post holder may also be asked to undertake management tasks, deputising for the Team Manager as needed, and will lead on mentoring and supervising colleagues within their service area.
The role focuses on individual assessment, intervention, and evaluation of treatment within NICE guidelines, evidence-based practices, aiming to maximise service users' recovery and re-enablement.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload, formulating care and treatment plans, and delivering specialist interventions to individuals with complex mental health issues.
Applicants should demonstrate a solid knowledge of health and psycho-social interventions for those with psychosis and complex needs. The team offers clinical supervision, peer support, and training.
The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse with experience supporting individuals with psychosis and Bipolar Affective Disorder in a community setting. Leadership in care planning, partnership working, and risk management is essential.
The role involves care coordination, nursing interventions, and contributing to team clinics and duty rotas.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about high-quality care and improving nursing functions, including physical health outcomes.
