Job Title: Clinical Specialist – Midlands, South / West Yorkshire

Coloplast, a leading company in intimate healthcare solutions, is seeking a dedicated Bowel Care Specialist to join our team and drive clinical excellence for our bowel care solutions. This role involves managing strategic clinical and education activities and services across a designated region. You will be instrumental in developing our BC services to support patients having earlier access to Coloplast bowel care solutions.

The Role:

  1. Coordinate the delivery of an ethical and professional bowel care service to patients within professional and company guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with Territory Managers and the Strategic Partnership Manager to implement clinical strategies across your region.
  3. Promote Coloplast clinical services and solutions.
  4. Participate in strategic project work to support the NHS and ensure quicker access to transanal irrigation (TAI).
  5. Support patients requiring transanal irrigation, developing long-term relationships with target accounts.
  6. Provide expert information, training, and advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
  7. Deliver education and training on Coloplast BC products.
  8. Stay updated with NHS trends and changes to align strategies accordingly.
  9. Monitor activity and data with Territory Managers to ensure efficiency and access to TAI.
  10. Coordinate service audit and evaluation activities to maintain standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  11. Maintain a professional portfolio in line with NMC requirements and stay abreast of clinical developments.
  12. Ensure compliance with CQC registration and clinical governance standards.

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong clinical and commercial acumen with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
  • Exceptional planning and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin, or qualified Physiotherapist or Clinical Scientist.
  • Experience in strategic project work.
  • Ability to live within or commute to the designated territory.
