London, The Wellington Hospital (Platinum Medical Centre)

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Monday-Friday between 08:00-18:00

Permanent

Salary: £49,000 - £54,500, plus a limited-time 10% welcome bonus (T's & C's apply)

We’re seeking a Senior Mammographer to join our Breast Unit at The Wellington Hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC.

The Mammography Department at The Platinum Medical Centre, part of The Wellington Hospital, offers comprehensive screening and symptomatic services with advanced breast imaging equipment from Hologic. Our skilled team collaborates with consultant breast radiologists to provide excellent patient care.

The Wellington Hospital is the UK's largest independent hospital with over 260 beds and 1000 employees, renowned for complex healthcare and international patient care.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Perform quality control for mammography.
• Handle administrative duties under supervision.
• Utilise PACS and DR/CR systems.
• Work across hospital departments as needed.
• Participate in rotations and breast clinics, assist with biopsies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate experience with a post DCR in Mammography
• Knowledge of mammography procedures
• Experience with Hologic equipment (desirable)
