Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

  1. Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms following established guidelines and protocols.
  2. Assist radiologists in breast biopsies, localizations, and other interventional procedures.
  3. Ensure imaging accuracy and clarity for optimal diagnostic interpretation.

Quality Assurance:

  1. Implement and monitor quality control programs to maintain equipment performance and image quality.
  2. Ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines such as the Mammography Quality Standards Act or equivalent.
  3. Conduct regular audits to assess and improve service delivery.
  4. Provide empathetic and respectful care, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  5. Address patient concerns and provide education about mammography and related procedures.

Leadership and Training:

  1. Mentor and support junior radiographers, providing guidance in clinical techniques and protocols.
