Assess patients' requirements related to their goals. Plan, manage, and review functional and psychological restoration for individuals and groups. Review care plans at regular intervals and communicate effectively with the patient's GP, advising on ongoing and flare-up management plans. Provide safe, effective, and dignified care according to best practice and national guidelines. Offer advice and treatments to individual patients within these guidelines.
The Shropshire Pain Services provides a tailored approach to individual service users. The successful candidate will be required to work in remote clinics as part of a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, nurses, and wellbeing practitioners committed to delivering a biopsychosocial model of care for people with persistent pain. The role involves comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with physical and emotional needs, formulating and reviewing treatment programs, and ensuring effective treatment, specialist advice, and timely discharge. We welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Occupational Therapists registered with an appropriate professional body, preferably with experience in Pain management.
