For this role the Microsoft Health AI team is looking for a clinician with an expertise in behavioural health who is excited about contributing to the next generation of systems that will transform the field.

Responsibilities
As an early employee in the Microsoft Health AI team you will be someone who:
  • Is passionate about shaping the direction and strategy of consumer generative AI products with regards to supporting better behavioural/mental health
  • Has a product-minded, creative, and entrepreneurial approach to their work.
  • Has a deep interest in generative AI and the implications and opportunities for behavioural health.
  • Can independently work to drive the development and evaluate generative AI systems in the behavioural health space.
  • Contributes to safety, ethics, and privacy policies.
  • Collaborates with and bridges the gap between clinicians, researchers, product, engineering, and partnership teams.
  • Identifies gaps and determines which tools, technologies, and methods to incorporate to ensure quality and scientific rigour.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Clinical Psychology or Medical Degree with associated postgraduate clinical experience in behavioural/mental health
  • Experience working in health tech OR track record of high impact research at the intersection of behavioural health and technology
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) in related field
  • Track record of high impact academic publications
  • Ability to produce high quality written and presentation materials with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
  • Work at high speed with autonomy in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience of working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
