Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Skills and Simulation Practitioner to join the Undergraduate Medical Education Academy. Based in a state-of-the-art Simulation Suite, the role delivers clinical skills and simulation training to medical students and supports a growing portfolio of simulation-based education across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering clinical skills and/or simulation-based education.
• Experience facilitating learning and supporting learners in practice.
• Knowledge of curriculum design and competency-based education frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, coordination and delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education across undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
• Deliver mandatory clinical skills training and facilitate simulation sessions with learners.
• Assess students in practice, identify learning needs and provide additional training where required.
• Plan, organise and evaluate educational programmes to meet university and Trust requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to develop innovative educational opportunities.
• Maintain equipment and facilities for clinical skills simulation and support day-to-day operations.
