We have an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Site team as a senior clinical site support worker. In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Site Manager (CSM) to facilitate and support patient flow through relevant bed resources.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Site team as a senior clinical site support worker. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the appropriate and timely placement of elective and emergency patients, in consultation with the CSM.
  • Undertaking in and out of hours bookings of non-emergency patient transport for Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Ensuring effective communication between Royal Devon and non-emergency transport suppliers.
  • Supporting clinical areas as required, including recording physiological observations and changes in patients' clinical conditions.
  • Assisting in delivering high-standard clinical care, working independently or under the direction of ward/department nurses.

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week

Pay: Salary reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, including a 3.6% pay award to be implemented later this year. If you join before this, the pay will be backdated accordingly. Until then, pay is based on 2024/5 pay bandings.
