Job summaryTo undertake advanced clinical patient assessment and support or lead clinical interventions where required. To participate in and support the Clinics emergency response teams to fire, security alerts, cardiac arrests, NEWS2 calls and other clinical emergencies and to be responsible for the co-ordination and first line management of Major Incidents and serious untoward incidents out of hours.
Main duties of the jobAs a member of the Clinic's 24-hour Clinical Site Practitioner Team the post holder is responsible for the management of emergency and out of hours admissions ensuring safe and appropriate patient placement. This requires the ability to balance the demand for an optimal level of elective activity with clear admission processes, whilst maintaining contingency plans for emergency admissions and emerging issues.
