Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust in Kent is recruiting a Clinical Sister / Charge Nurse to lead our Children's Nursing team across HDU, 24hr Assessment Unit and Day Case Surgical areas. You will drive clinical excellence, support staff development and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care for children and families.

Main duties of the job

Our Children's nursing team is expanding, and is led by our Head of Nursing for Children and Young People, a Trust wide role to ensure children and young people receive high quality care wherever they access our services across the organisation.

You will be supported by Practice Development Nurse, together with a friendly multidisciplinary team and a corporate training and development team. We have in house leadership programmes and work with a range of universities to ensure you can progress through academic pathways in order to support your career development.
