This is a really exciting opportunity to join our Oncology Team as a Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse in the Arden Centre. We are an Outpatient/Day Unit Service, providing treatment for patients with Cancer. Treatments include systemic anti cancer (Immunotherapy & Chemotherapy), supportive treatments (Blood products) and management of central venous access devices.
We are looking for a nurse who is very experienced with the above treatments, who has leadership and management skills and who is able to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe care.
***This post is predominantly based at Coventry, however cover at the maple unit in Rugby will be required on occasion.***
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
You will be expected to provide clinical leadership and management support to the Chemotherapy Suite and Oncology Outpatient Unit, have the ability to motivate staff, problem solving, being a role model and implementing change.
You will need to have excellent communication skills as the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team is essential.
