Job summary

NHS Western Isles invites applications for the post of Clinical Practice Trainer (simulation focused). Based at the Western Isles Hospital, you will design and deliver a simulation service for medical undergraduates, postgraduates, nursing staff and allied health professionals.

Candidates require extended post-registration experience, a degree in Nursing, Midwifery or health-related subject, CPD evidence and experience teaching clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Post-registration experience as a registered health professional.
• Degree in Nursing, Midwifery or health-related subject.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Experience in teaching clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a simulation-based training service for students and staff.
• Develop simulation scenarios and MDT teaching sessions.
• Support expansion of training opportunities across NHS Western Isles.
