Job summaryThe Clinical Simulation Technician and Resuscitation Administrator will support both the faculty and facility for clinical simulation over the three sites. The post holder will provide technical and administrative support for all learning and teaching activities within simulation, for both internal and external courses. The post holder will also support the Resuscitation Team with all administrative tasks, internally and in relation to RCUK requirements.
Main duties of the jobWe are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join our team as Clinical Simulation Technician and Resuscitation Administrator. This role is pivotal for supporting the delivery of high quality clinical simulation and resuscitation training across the organisation.
Working as part of the Required Learning Administration Team to support administrative processes for the resuscitation training, the successful candidate will also work closely with the Clinical Simulation Lead to ensure the smooth operation of simulation-based education.
This role is essential in supporting the development of clinical staff to provide excellence in patient care.

You will support the Resuscitation Officers / Resuscitation Training Facilitators (RTF) by setting up and maintaining teaching materials.
You will manage the Resuscitation inbox, directing queries to relevant members of the team as required.
You will support recording of booking and teaching activity in relation to Resuscitation services on the ESR System
You will fully utilise the ESR system to produce reports allowing Resuscitation Officers / Facilitators to analyse / identify staff competencies / compliances.
You will follow relevant SOPs to minimize the impact of non-attendance across all resuscitation programmes.
You will assist in arrangement and execution of Resuscitation Council (RCUK) ALS and EPALS courses. This will include the collation of packages, bookings, and general accounts administration.
You will support the administration of RCUK ILS, PILS courses in the absence of the Resuscitation Officer / Facilitator.
