Job summary

RJA-Consulting in Northampton is seeking an experienced senior nurse to lead drug and alcohol services within a warm, multidisciplinary team. You will run prescribing and wellbeing clinics, uphold safeguarding and professional standards, and support the nursing team through supervision and training.

You will collaborate with commissioners, spot signs of substance use, apply relevant safeguarding laws, and drive service improvements to ensure accessible, high‑quality care for people in community

What we’re looking for

You’ll need:

• To be a senior nurse with experience in drug and alcohol services
• NMC registration with an active PIN
• A good understanding of safeguarding, substance use and the laws around it
• The ability to spot signs of substance use and understand the challenges people face
• Builds great relationships with colleagues, commissioners and the people we support
• Feels confident speaking up, sharing ideas and bringing people with you
