NHS Lanarkshire recherche un Secrétaire Clinique pour soutenir l'équipe de Trauma & Orthopaedics à l'Hôpital Universitaire Hairmyres. Ce poste implique une gestion administrative essentielle qui permet aux cliniciens de fonctionner efficacement. The Role

NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a Clinical Secretary - Trauma & Orthopaedics, based within University Hospital Hairmyres.

The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What we'll need you to bring
  • SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) plus at least 2 years in healthcare administration or at least 3 years in a secretarial role
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
  • Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
  • Audio typing skills
Contract type

Fixed Term or Secondment until 31st March 2026

Part Time - 33 hours

Please note for this part time post, the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Please note this is a fixed term post until 31/03/2026 Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Trauma & Orthopaedics within University Hospital Hairmyres

The working pattern for this role: Monday -Friday 9.00-5.00 pro rata
