We are looking to recruit a Clinical Secretary to join the Maternity & Neonatal ward at University Hospital Wishaw.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Secretary to join the Maternity & Neonatal ward at University Hospital Wishaw.
The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently.
The Clinical Secretary will also work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Secretarial Experience Would Be Beneficial.

What We'll Need You To Bring
- SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or experience in a secretarial role
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
- Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
- Audio typing skills
It Would Be Goo If You Also Had
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word for Windows)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good communicator
