Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesAlong with providing an efficient and comprehensive secretarial support, the postholder would proficient in:-
Producing high quality reports with agreed deadlines
Diary management, message taking.
Facilitating meeting/investigations/disciplinaries when required.
There will be an expectation to work flexibly to ensure office cover.
Ensure patient referrals are processed timely.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. QualificationsEssential criteria- Typing Qualification RSA/OCR or equivalent level of experience
- NVQ Business Admin Level 3
Desirable criteria- ECDL

TrainingEssential criteria- MS packages/minute taking
ExperienceEssential criteria- Diary management, previous experience
Desirable criteria- Experience of working within NHS
- Knowledge of patient information systems
SkillsEssential criteria- Interpersonal skills, admin skills, telephone manner, numeracy and literacy
