Are you looking to continue your professional development in a new role in Audiology?

We are looking for an Audiologist to take on a senior role in Paediatric Audiology across Mid Cheshire. The role would suit either a newly registered Clinical Scientist or an Audiologist with previous experience in Paediatrics.

The ideal candidate will be friendly and approachable, demonstrating good communication skills with service users and other professionals.

Theywill have a broad understanding of the current professional landscape and have a proactive attitude to service development. They will be keen tocontinue their professional and personal development, and happy to share knowledge with colleagues.

Main duties of the job

Clinical duties include taking a lead role in behavioural and electrophysiological testing of hearing for babies and children.

The post-holder will also form individual management plans and provide hearing devices for infants and children.The post-holder will be expected to act as Team Leader for the Newborn Hearing Screening team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust, playing animportant role in ensuring early identification and management of permanent childhood hearing impairment.
