Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Scientist Service Manager to lead radiology physics services, ensuring imaging quality, patient protection, and equipment commissioning.

You will work with clinicians, radiographers and engineers to maintain QA programmes across CT and X-ray systems, take responsibility for service delivery and supplier liaison, with a focus on safety and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead radiology physics services and QA programmes for diagnostic imaging to ensure patient safety and high image quality.
• Coordinate commissioning of new equipment and ensure correct calibration and testing of X-ray systems.
• Liaise with clinicians, radiographers and engineers to evaluate, procure and accept test capital equipment.
• Take operational responsibility for service delivery and ensure robust coverage of radiological physics.
