Job summary

NHS Highland invites applications for an experienced Clinical Scientist to join the Nuclear Medicine team at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. The role provides a permanent appointment within a small, friendly multi-disciplinary group, serving the Highlands, west Grampian and Western Isles.

The post holder will be HCPC registered and ideally entitled as a Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine. Training opportunities and MSc research involvement are available within a supportive department.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and eligible as Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Active role in Nuclear Medicine team and involvement in all aspects of the work in the section.
• Involved in training technologists and Clinical Scientists on the Scottish scheme for Medical Physics.
• Contribute to MSc projects and other departmental research work.
