A forward-thinking healthcare organization in the UK seeks a Principal Clinical Scientist to enhance its Biochemistry department. The role requires an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry, HCPC registration, and 3-4 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will provide leadership, conduct clinical assessments, and engage in R&D, all within a supportive and collaborative environment that prioritizes high-quality patient care.
We are excited to be seeking a full-time Principal Clinical Scientist to work in our friendly and forward-thinking Biochemistry department. This is a newly created post to expand our clinical biochemist team at Airedale to two Principal Clinical Scientists and one Consultant. We welcome applications from candidates with suitable experience and who share our enthusiasm to provide high quality services to users and patients.
As an employee of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, the successful candidate will play a key clinical role within Integrated Pathology Solutions LLP (IPS), a joint venture providing a high-quality pathology service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust. All IPS laboratories are also part of the wider West Yorkshire and Harrogate Pathology Network which includes all 6 Trusts within the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT).
