Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic Pharmacists to join our team of Clinical Rotational Pharmacists. Our excellent programme offers a diverse range of development opportunities for pharmacists with an interest in honing their clinical knowledge, as well as taking strives into leadership and management opportunities.
Our team of 25 Clinical Rotational Pharmacists participate in 12 month rotations working across all 5 divisions within the trust giving the post holder the opportunity to experience an unrivalled breadth of clinical pharmacy practice and professional development.
Our Pharmacy Department
Our progressive and friendly pharmacy department consists of approximately 300 staff. The department provides clinical services to diverse patient groups across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including many highly specialised services. Our department is proud to prioritise the inclusion of all staff and we support everyone to achieve their potential.
Within CUH Pharmacy, there is a strong sense of team spirit and many opportunities to work with colleagues from other clinical specialties.
Well-being of staff is a priority within the department and our Pharmacy Staff Well-being Forum frequently hosts social events and coordinates efforts to positively support well-being of the Pharmacy team.

Main duties of the jobTo provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to ward(s) within specialist area.To deliver designated performance objectives specific to the allocated rotation area(s).
Our Clinical Rotational Pharmacists participate in extended clinical rotations in a vast range of specialties across the hospital.
Our rotations include:
o Surgeryo Gastroenterologyo Trauma & Orthopaedicso Vascular surgeryo Pre-admission clinics Critical Care Oncology and Haematology x2 Medicines Information Medicine:o Emergency and Acute Medicineo General Medicineo Respiratoryo Renal
