Talentmark is recruiting a Clinical Research Scientist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company on a 12-month contract in the UK. The role is hybrid, up to 3 days per week in Burgess Hill, focusing on cardiovascular and metabolic disease programs.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree with pharma/academia experience in cardiovascular/metabolic areas and a proven track record leading global clinical trials, with strong regulatory knowledge and a willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with experience in cardiology, metabolic diseases, obesity or related field.
• Experience in academia, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry in cardiovascular/metabolic area.
• Proven track record managing In Vitro Diagnostics or Medical Device studies across all stages of global clinical trials.
• Led large, complex development programs and guided cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Strong understanding of global standards and regulations such as ICH-GCP, IVDD/IVDR, MDR, FDA, and NMPA.
• Willing to travel up to 25% depending on project phases.

Responsibilities

• Work on the clinical development strategy for large studies and programs in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
• Work with Global Regulatory Affairs on regulatory filings and review clinical documents for international submissions.
• Act as the medical lead with health authorities and build relationships with international Key Opinion Leaders.
• Oversee communication strategies for clinical studies and represent the organisation at medical congresses and advisory boards.
• Drive competitive differentiation and innovation, and help shape intellectual property strategies.
• Coach and mentor team members to help them build their skills and confidence.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Clinical Research Scientist to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid based, up to 3 days per week in Burgess Hill.

Up to £250 per day PAYE or up to £331 per day Umbrella.

Clinical Research ScientistRole:
