Job summary

NHS Scotland's NHS Fife R&D Team seeks an individual to support research nurses and clinical investigators in delivering clinical trials and research across NHS Fife. You will monitor follow-up participants, collect data, and provide administrative support while collaborating with local investigators and multidisciplinary teams.

Based primarily at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, with regular travel to Victoria Hospital and other NHS Fife sites.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills and accurate data handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring, long term follow up and support of research participants.
• Collect, document and manage research data accurately.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support and collaborate with investigators.
• Manage a caseload of follow-up participants and assist in setting up new studies.
• Work under supervision of experienced R&D nurses.
