Clinical Research Physician | Mental Health & CNS | London-Based

Location: London, On-site

Full-Time | Permanent

Clerkenwell Health is an innovative and leading Research Organisation specialising in the delivery of scientifically grounded Clinical Trials using its collaborative Contract Research Organisation (CRO), extensive Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Network, and leading Therapy Development Programme. Clerkenwell Health specialises in supporting the Mental Health and CNS (Central Nervous System) space, with a strong focus on psychedelic drug development.

What You’ll Do:

As a Clinical Research Physician, you’ll play a vital role in delivering Phase I-III trials, ensuring the highest standards of medical oversight, participant care, and compliance. Working alongside experienced Principal Investigators, you will:

  • Provide hands-on medical care for trial participants
  • Conduct clinical assessments, physical exams, and consent procedures
  • Fulfil PI/sub-PI responsibilities as delegated
  • Review participant records, labs, and manage AEs/SAEs
  • Support recruitment, site visits, and audit readiness
  • Be involved in both research execution and strategic input as a subject matter expert

What We’re Looking For:

GMC registration (full and current)

Post-graduation experience in Clinical Trials

Broad clinical experience in acute specialties

Strong interest in mental health, CNS, and/or psychedelic research

Exceptional communication and teamworking skills

Bonus if you have:

MRCP / MRCGP / MRCPsych

Experience in neurology or psychiatry

GCP knowledge and/or pharmaceutical background
