Job description

We have an opportunity for a Research Nurse to join our unique asthma respiratory team at Guy's Hospital . This is to support the delivery at GSTT of a multi-site CTIMP UK study. The role will involve screening, recruiting and providing intervention for a short window. This will include data entry and follow ups

The Research Nurse will play a key role in recruiting to a novel multi-site study for patients with Asthma; providing intervention and follow-up. They will ensure that the study is undertaken in a manner that safeguards the well-being of patients/research volunteers and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006.

The post holder will be working closely with key Professors and Investigators on a new novel study. Our research programme is at the heart of everything we do at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and plays a vital role in helping us to consolidate and grow on our position as one of the UK’s leading research Trusts.
