Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Grinstead, is recruiting for a Band 5 Clinical Research Nurse/Practitioner. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to cover service needs.

Salary scales £32,073–£39,043 per annum, with NHS terms and conditions and benefits. The post involves coordinating a portfolio of studies across specialties, supporting patient recruitment, consent, and study-related assessments.

Qualifications

• Post-registration experience in secondary/tertiary care settings.
• GCP training and evidence of CPD.
• NMC registration/CRP accreditation is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a portfolio of clinical research studies within the Trust’s portfolio.
• Identify eligible participants through clinics and records and support informed consent.
• Coordinate protocol-required assessments, investigations, and follow-up.
• Monitor adverse events and ensure safety information is documented and reported.
• Maintain source documentation, case report forms and study databases.
• Assist with study feasibility, setup and initiation with investigators and sponsors.
• Register or randomise participants and support data submission within timelines.
• Provide cross-cover for colleagues and promote research awareness.
