A leading healthcare provider in Stockport is looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to play a crucial role in research studies. The successful candidate will oversee patient recruitment and ensure studies adhere to regulatory standards, while leading a multidisciplinary team in a dedicated research environment. The post holder will be a key member of the Research and Innovation (R&I) team providing specialist research and clinical care for participants enrolled in clinical research studies. They will support and promote the set-up and delivery of such studies within the Trust, demonstrating a clear commitment to patient safety. They will have responsibility for a portfolio of clinical research studies across multiple specialisms and take a lead role in development of this portfolio, by identifying new opportunities and liaising with study sponsors, internal and external parties.
This role will require experience currently or previously worked as a clinical research nurse and be able to demonstrate this in their application form.
The post holder will be involved in recruiting patients into clinical research studies. They will provide research nursing support for research staff, patients, volunteers and relatives as appropriate to the studies undertaken, and will ensure they are conducted to the appropriate regulatory standards. They will provide clinical leadership to nursing and support staff, including monitoring and raising the standard of research and care. They will be involved in development of team objectives to enhance the performance and expansion of research at the Trust.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salaryIn addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
