Job description
This fellowship offers a valuable training opportunity for individuals seeking to enhance their neurology experience or develop interests in clinical neurosciences (neurology). The position starts on 6th August 2025 and lasts for one year.
You will join a dedicated clinical and research team focused on improving outcomes for patients with atypical parkinsonian syndromes, a group of diseases characterized by rapid deterioration and limited support nationally. The role includes organizing research, visiting and independently assessing patients, analyzing data, and potentially contributing to publications and presentations at national and international conferences. You will be part of the CRN Wessex Research Fellow programme within the Southampton Academy of Research (SoAR), gaining skills for delivering high-quality portfolio research throughout your career.
Additionally, you will receive clinical training in a busy tertiary neurological centre with a wide range of specialist clinics and services.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to travel between hospital sites and for patient visits.
