Job summary

The University of Cambridge invites applications for a medically qualified Clinical Research Fellow to join the Cambridge BioMind Laboratory and the Prediction and Learning Laboratory. Funded by a Wellcome award, the post offers hands-on clinical experience in experimental medicine alongside training in computational psychiatry and multi-omics, with a potential PhD route.

Fixed-term for 3 years, 22.2–25.9 hours per week, pro-rata on the NHS scale for resident doctors.

Qualifications

• Medically qualified with clinical training.
• Experience in research settings or clinical trials preferred.
• Familiarity with ethical approvals and safety monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support for the study and ensure high-standard safety monitoring.
• Screen participants and coordinate study visits and pharmacological procedures.
• Contribute to cognitive, physiological and omics data analyses.
• Assist in shaping the scientific direction of the project.
